    Do you really need to use that card?

    Some questions to ask yourself before buying on credit:

    • Do I really need this right now or can I wait?
    • When will I be able to pay off my credit card bill once this purchase shows up on my statement?
    • How much extra will I be paying for this shirt, cd, football etc…if I buy it on credit instead of waiting until I have enough cash for the purchase?
    • Is this purchase worth going into debt?
    • Do I already have a balance on my credit card that I need to pay off?
