Deals on Wheels
By Michael Anaya
Buying a car is often considered a milestone in growing up. A car is a big responsibility, since it has to be washed, oiled, but most of all PAID FOR. There are several methods and tricks that can help you save a little money on your car.

First and foremost, if at all possible, buy a used car. The price differences are astronomical, and you would be surprised how many cars there are out there that are nice, well cared for, and affordable. While buying a used car, one of the most important things to remember is to be willing to haggle with the dealer. In most cases, someone selling a car may go almost two thousand bucks lower than the advertised price on his car. Also, don't be afraid to walk away from a car if you don't like the sound of the deal.

However, for those of you that just have to have a brand new car in all its blazing glory, there are a handful of ways to keep some cash in your pockets too. Always wait for the deals or sales events during the middle or end of the year. If you can have a little patience and wait till at least summer, you may see the same car for much less than it was earlier. Finally, when you decide to buy a car, know exactly how much you are willing to pay for it. New car dealers will do almost anything to add on to the price of the car, since part of the money goes to them. The easiest way to keep them from jacking the price up to the sky is to simply say, "This is what I saw the car advertised for, and that is what I am willing to pay for it."
Happy Hunting.
